12:21 His servants Jozabad son of Shimeath and Jehozabad son of Shomer murdered him. ¹  He was buried ²  with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Amaziah replaced him as king.

2 Raja-raja 14:19-20

14:19 Conspirators plotted against him in Jerusalem, ³  so he fled to Lachish. But they sent assassins after him ⁴  and they killed him there. 14:20 His body was carried back by horses ⁵  and he was buried in Jerusalem with his ancestors in the city of David.

2 Raja-raja 23:20

23:20 He sacrificed all the priests of the high places on the altars located there, and burned human bones on them. Then he returned to Jerusalem.
